I am interersted in The Woodlanders Walk having just reviewed The Woodlanders in a lecture series tutored by Professor Barrie Bullen in Oxford. Presently I am living in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, and rely on public transportation. Are you aware of a location with a B & B or other accommodation within walking distance of the Car Park accessible by bus or train that I might investigate for a stay whereby I could join your walk and explore Wessex further?

Catherine - sorry about the delayed reply; your request was lost amongst the spam which we are trying to erdicate. The best way to sort out a b&b for this walk is via the Dorchester TIC www.westdorset.com Tel. 01305 267992. If you then need a lift to and from the walk start point email us at info@hardysociety.org and we'll sort that out for you.
Hope to see you on the walk on 10th March. Tony Fincham.
