Dorchester Walking Festival 2023
Including Two Walks led by THS Chairman Mark Chutter
The Dorchester Walking Festival is a 9-day event taking place from Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st May 2023 during National Walking Month.
There are 50 guided walks to choose from – a great mix of long and short walks and activities for all abilities and interests. Whether you are a keen hiker or prefer a gentle stroll, the programme will include something for everyone. Almost half of the walks are free, but booking is essential.
We have also included many of the varied self-guided walks that can be enjoyed at your leisure, throughout the festival. Lengths of these vary from 2-mile trails around the town to more intrepid hikes, such as the 26-mile Cerne Valley walk and the 212-mile Hardy Way, to be done over many days.
THS Chairman Mark Chutter will be leading two Hardy-centred walks around Fordington:
Sunday 14th May 12pm - 2pm
Saturday 20th May 12pm - 2pm.
These walks are £15 each and include afternoon tea.
