Step back in time and explore the picturesque town that inspired one of England's greatest novelists. Meet us at The Town Pump for a guided walking tour around Hardy’s Casterbridge (Dorchester) and Fordington (Durnover) reciting poetry and prose of this great writer and discovering the places and buildings that inspired him to write The Mayor of Cassterbridge, guided by Mark Damon Chutter, Chairman and Academic Director of the Thomas Hardy Society.
