Men Who March Away

Thomas Hardye School, Dorchester

Men Who March Away is a Dorchester Arts Event, but is supported and sponsored by the Hardy Society.
This full-length play, with music, will be performed by pupils at St. Osmond's School in Dorchester on 27th and 28th March, at 7pm in the Town Hall. It is aboutWorld War . The first act is set in Dorchester before the outbreak of war and the second is set on the Somme battlefield. The script includes Hardy poems and Hardy himself is much in evidence in Act One.
