Passing of Ray Evans
Long-standing THS member Ray Evans has sadly passed away.
Dr Ray Evans, a longstanding member of the Society, died peacefully in the Waverely Care Home, Leominster on 31st March aged 91. He will be sadly missed by his three sons, Hugh, Guy and Ralph; six grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Lisa, Victoria, Charlotte, and Stephanie; and two great grandchildren, Ruby and Evie. His wife Ann, to whom he had been married for over 60 years, passed away in 2016. A gentle, kind, and compassionate man he was much loved and respected by all those fortunate to know him.
We at the Thomas Hardy Society extend our deepest sympathies and send our very best wishes to all of Ray's family.
