Step back in time for a Victorian Christmas at Poxwell Manor.

Join The Thomas Hardy Society for a fun, participatory adaptation of Charles Dickens’ much loved cherished classic, A Christmas Carol with a storytelling performance that brings Dickens’ 1843 novella vibrantly to life, with “lickety-spit-paced” rhyming-verse, and the true spirit of Christmas at heart.

The celebration concludes with joyful community singing and the sharing of festive crackers.

Period costume is encouraged to enhance the festive atmosphere, though it is by no means compulsory
