Under the Greenwood Tree Walk

A Walk from Dorchester to Lower Bockhampton and back to coincide with the THS 2022 Study Day - led by Derek Pride

Derek Pride's mother taught at Bockhampton School in the 1920s. From Mill Street (Mixen Lane) across Fordington Fields (Durnover) to Bockhampton Bridge; then past the Old School and the Old Manor to Kingston Maurward Gardens (refreshments and toilet stop), returning via Stinsford Church across the meadows to Grey's Bridge.

Meet at the Town Pump in Dorchester at 10am. Walk - approximately 6 miles (return), please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Canine friends most welcome!
