Annual London Lecture 2025 and Walk around St Pancras
A photographic review of this annual event
Mark Damon Chutter, THS Chair and Academic Director led a group of Hardy enthusiasts around St Pancras Church and graveyard ahead of the London Lecture at University College London, which this year focused on Hardy's time in London.
We learned much about this fascinating church and the work Hardy was commissioned to do as well as his part in the strange origins of the Hardy Tree. The group enjoyed Hardy readings and finding out about the many connections to London Hardy had throughout his life and how these experiences shaped his literary work.
