Edward Bourne will present a collection of his drawings inspired by Hardy’s Wessex, during which he will talk about why Hardy’s words are such fertile ground for Illustration.

He is an artist living in Bristol whose work is inspired by nature and literature. He has been interested in Thomas Hardy since studying him in secondary school and in more depth during his BA at the University of Bristol. Bringing these three threads together through the exploration of Wessex landmarks and the novels and poems of Hardy provides the perfect opportunity to represent connections between words and nature through art.

Tickets: For those who are not attending the conference in its entirety - £5
