Thomas Hardy workshops at local schools have been praised as a great success.
The workshops included analysing and evaluating an eclectic range of Hardy's work as a segue to writing creatively in the style and genre of the writer and poet.
Pupils in Year 8 at Wey Valley Academy were thrilled with a workshop delivered to them by the Thomas Hardy Society. A huge thanks to Alban O'Brien, Byron Silver, and John Eames.
The worshops have inspired students to find out more about the much-loved writer, who would have been delighted by the response.
