10.00 am: meet at Waterloo Station on the War Memorial Steps (main entrance) for an exploration of Hardy’s London – from the West End to Bloomsbury and St. Pancras Old Churchyard (please bring a packed lunch)

3.15 pm: Meet at the West Door of Westminster Abbey (tomb of the Unknown Warrior) for
3.30 pm: A short Thanksgiving Service of poetry and prayers in Poets’ Corner, during which a wreath will be laid on Hardy’s sepulchre.
